These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Web3Seeker website, platform, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Nature of the Service
Web3Seeker is an informational search and discovery platform that indexes and provides access to publicly available Web3-related resources, including blockchain data, decentralized applications, digital assets, and related content. Web3Seeker:
- does not operate any blockchain network;
- does not control or manage third-party websites or protocols;
- does not execute blockchain transactions on behalf of users;
- does not provide custodial services; and
- does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
The Service functions solely as a discovery and indexing interface.
2. No Custody; No Control Over Digital Assets
Web3Seeker does not hold, store, or manage private keys, control user wallets, custody digital assets, or execute transactions. Any blockchain interaction occurs directly between you and the relevant network or third-party tool. You retain sole control and responsibility over your wallets, private keys, and digital assets.
3. Third-Party Content and Links
The Service may display or link to third-party websites, smart contracts, tokens, decentralized applications, exchanges, and other external platforms. Web3Seeker does not endorse, verify, or guarantee third-party content and is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, security, or functionality of external platforms. Accessing third-party services is done at your own discretion and risk.
4. No Investment or Financial Advice
Information provided through the Service is for general informational purposes only. Nothing on the Service constitutes:
- investment advice;
- financial advice;
- legal advice;
- tax advice; or
- an offer or solicitation to buy or sell digital assets.
You are solely responsible for conducting independent research and seeking professional advice where appropriate.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- use the Service in compliance with applicable laws;
- not interfere with or disrupt the Service;
- not attempt unauthorized access to systems or data;
- not misuse indexing or scraping functionality; and
- not introduce malicious code or harmful activity.
You are solely responsible for your blockchain transactions, wallet security, and private key management.
6. No Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Web3Seeker disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties regarding:
- accuracy or completeness of indexed content;
- continuous availability;
- error-free operation;
- security of third-party platforms; and
- suitability for any particular purpose.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Web3Seeker and its operators are not liable for:
- loss of digital assets;
- loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill;
- indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages;
- blockchain transaction errors;
- smart contract vulnerabilities; or
- third-party platform failures.
Your use of the Service is at your own discretion and risk.
If liability cannot be fully excluded under applicable law, aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid to Web3Seeker for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, and where no payment was made, liability is limited to the minimum amount permitted by law.
8. Platform Modifications
Web3Seeker may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including indexing methodologies, feature sets, and content availability. We may remove or de-index content without prior notice. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of changes.
9. Intellectual Property
All platform branding, design, software, and proprietary materials are owned by Web3Seeker or its licensors. Third-party content remains the property of its respective owners. No license is granted except for limited personal use of the Service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Web3Seeker and its operators from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from or related to:
- your use of the Service;
- your blockchain transactions;
- your violation of these Terms; or
- your interactions with third-party platforms.
11. Regulatory Status
Web3Seeker is not:
- a broker;
- a dealer;
- a financial institution;
- a cryptocurrency exchange;
- a custodian; or
- an investment advisor.
The Service is an informational platform only.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Subject to applicable law, disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service are submitted to courts of competent jurisdiction in Nova Scotia, Canada.
13. Changes to These Terms
Web3Seeker may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions become effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
14. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that blockchain systems, smart contracts, tokens, and decentralized platforms involve elevated technical, regulatory, and market risks, including irreversible transaction outcomes. You assume all risk arising from your use of the Service and from any third-party or on-chain interaction.
15. Enforcement, Suspension, and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, maintenance, or platform integrity.
16. No Fiduciary or Advisory Relationship
Use of the Service does not create any fiduciary, advisory, agency, partnership, or trust relationship between you and Web3Seeker.
17. Force Majeure
Web3Seeker is not liable for delays, failures, or interruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including network failures, internet outages, denial-of-service events, third-party platform failures, regulatory actions, labor disputes, or natural disasters.
18. Severability and No Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
19. Entire Agreement and Assignment
These Terms form the entire agreement between you and Web3Seeker regarding the Service and supersede prior or contemporaneous understandings on this subject. Web3Seeker may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a reorganization, merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.
