Web3Seeker
Privacy Policy
Effective date: February 17, 2026
Last updated: February 17, 2026
Web3Seeker ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you access or use the Web3Seeker platform (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Data Minimization Principle
Web3Seeker is designed as an informational discovery platform. We generally do not require account registration to browse the Service.
Web3Seeker does not:
- collect private keys;
- access user wallets beyond optional connection metadata;
- store seed phrases;
- custody digital assets; or
- execute blockchain transactions on behalf of users.
Blockchain interactions occur directly between users and third-party tools or networks.
2. Information We May Collect
A. Automatically Collected Data
When you access the Service, we may automatically collect limited technical data such as:
- IP address;
- browser type;
- device type;
- operating system;
- referring URLs;
- pages visited; and
- general usage metrics.
This information is collected for security, performance monitoring, and analytics purposes.
B. Wallet Addresses
If wallet connection features are available and you voluntarily connect a wallet to the Service:
- we may detect your public wallet address;
- public wallet addresses are blockchain identifiers, not personal data by themselves; and
- we do not access private keys or sign transactions on your behalf.
C. Communications
If you contact us directly, we may collect:
- your email address;
- the content of your message; and
- any information you choose to provide.
3. How We Use Information
We may use collected information to:
- operate and maintain the Service;
- improve functionality and user experience;
- monitor usage trends;
- detect and prevent abuse or security issues; and
- respond to user inquiries.
We do not sell personal data.
4. Blockchain Data
Blockchain networks are public and immutable. Any interaction you conduct on a blockchain, including wallet addresses and transactions, may be publicly accessible and permanently recorded by the network itself. Web3Seeker does not control blockchain data and cannot modify or delete on-chain information.
5. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate or link to third-party tools, analytics providers, wallets, or decentralized platforms. These third parties may independently collect information under their own privacy policies. Web3Seeker is not responsible for third-party data practices.
6. Cookies and Analytics
We may use cookies or similar technologies for:
- site functionality;
- performance measurement; and
- basic analytics.
You may disable cookies in your browser settings; however, certain features may not function properly.
Our systems are not configured to respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals in a uniform way.
7. Data Retention
We retain technical and communication data only as long as necessary for operational purposes, security monitoring, and legal compliance. We do not store sensitive wallet credentials.
We may retain limited records for fraud prevention, dispute handling, auditability, and legal defense, including where required by applicable law or lawful requests.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information under our control. However, no system is completely secure, blockchain transactions are generally irreversible, and users remain responsible for protecting private keys and wallet credentials.
You acknowledge that security controls reduce risk but cannot eliminate all risks, including unauthorized access, service interruption, or transmission vulnerabilities.
9. International Access
The Service may be accessed globally. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in jurisdictions where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates become effective upon posting. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of revisions.
12. Contact
For privacy-related inquiries, submit through /contact.
13. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR - EU Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or similar jurisdictions, we process personal data only where we have a lawful basis, including:
- legitimate interests (operating, securing, and improving the Service);
- consent (where required, such as certain analytics or communications); and
- legal obligations (where applicable).
Because Web3Seeker is an informational platform and does not require account registration for browsing, most processing is limited to legitimate interests in maintaining and securing the Service.
14. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR)
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- request access to your personal data;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request deletion of personal data;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request data portability; and
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise these rights, use /contact. We may request verification of identity before fulfilling requests.
Note: blockchain data is public and immutable, and Web3Seeker cannot modify or delete on-chain data.
15. Canadian Privacy Rights (PIPEDA)
If you are located in Canada, you may have the right to:
- request access to personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information; and
- inquire about how personal information is used or disclosed.
Requests may be submitted via /contact. We respond within a reasonable timeframe as required by applicable Canadian privacy laws.
16. Cross-Border Data Transfers
The Service may process data in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred and processed internationally.
17. Data Subject Complaints
If you are located in:
- the European Union, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; or
- Canada, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
We encourage users to contact us first so we can try to resolve concerns directly.
18. Data Minimization and Limited Scope Clarification
Web3Seeker:
- does not create user behavioral profiles for advertising;
- does not sell personal information;
- does not knowingly collect sensitive personal data; and
- does not process biometric, financial account, or private cryptographic credentials.
Our processing scope is limited to operational, security, and communication purposes.
19. Legal Requests and Compliance Disclosures
We may disclose information where required to comply with applicable law, lawful government requests, court orders, or regulatory obligations, and where necessary to protect rights, safety, platform integrity, or investigate misuse.
20. Deletion Limits and Technical Constraints
Deletion, correction, or restriction requests are handled to the extent technically feasible and legally required. Some information may remain in backups, security logs, or archived records for limited periods.
On-chain data and third-party platform data are outside our control and cannot be modified or deleted by Web3Seeker.
21. No Targeted Advertising or Automated Decisioning
Web3Seeker does not intentionally use personal data for targeted advertising profiles and does not use personal data to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
22. Security Monitoring and Incident Response Records
To maintain service integrity, we may collect and retain technical security records related to suspicious activity, abuse prevention, incident response, and forensic analysis, subject to applicable law.
23. Scope and Interpretation
This Privacy Policy describes Web3Seeker's own data practices only. It does not cover third-party websites, wallets, protocols, or services linked from the Service. If there is a conflict between this Policy and mandatory applicable law, mandatory law prevails to the required extent.
